Trekking to Base Camp

About twenty kilometers from the border with India, it stands out Lumbini, the nerve center of Buddhism, where the Buddha was born in 563 BC.
Worth visiting is the large park Lumbini Development Zone, where the Maya Devi Temple, on the precise spot where the queen gave birth to Siddhartha Gautama, the Korean Buddhist Temple, Chinese Buddhist Monastery and numerous other temples and pagodas for an unmissable cultural itinerary.
In the complex there is also a museum that tells the story of the Buddha.
