Europe is an excellent destination for those looking for the sea and many things to do. That's why we have decided to tell you about an exceptional destination in Greece: floods.
Where is Faliraki
Faliraki is a charming seaside resort located in equally picturesque Rhodes. We are talking, then, about a curious town that comes to life along the eastern coast of the largest island in the Dodecanese, about 12 kilometers from the capital.
It is a tourist spot especially loved by travelers who choose Greece as a holiday destination. You know why? Because Faliraki is in a very favorable position, but also because it offers immense beaches, bars, restaurants, hotels, guest houses and, above all, a lively and colorful nightlife.
It is no coincidence that it is a place especially frequented by young people who can have fun here thanks to a wide selection of clubs, both day and night, and perhaps right on its beautiful beach. This does not mean that this corner of the island of Rhodes is also a suitable destination for families due to the numerous services it offers.
What to see
As you may have guessed from the previous lines, Faliraki is probably not the most interesting city in Greece. This is because it is characterized by having a long succession of hotels and apartments for tourists, a multitude of shops, cafes, nightclubs, restaurants, nightclubs, beach volleyball courts, water parks, bungee jumping, play areas for the little ones, slopes karting, riding centers and much more.
No, it is not the most atmospheric place in Rhodes, but you can certainly do many activities here and you will certainly not get bored. All this, of course, always allowing you the privilege of taking the baths you want in a crystalline sea, in addition to being able to take refuge in corners surrounded by monumental rocks and wild profiles.
If you choose this destination for your vacation, it is because of the ease with which you can experience it, because of the proximity to many other attractions to discover and because you want to make a Vacation with a capital T, or the one you don't want to think about at all.
The biggest tourist attraction that can be found in these parts, in fact, is a gigantic WaterPark, a water amusement park with pools and slides suitable for any age.
The beaches you can't miss
Faliraki is the queen of fun., but also a good destination to enjoy beautiful beaches bathed by a sea that is nothing less than fantastic. The first beach that we recommend you visit is the one located at the foot of its center, a beach so extensive that it is given the title of one of the most famous beaches in Rhodes, or at least the most popular.
After all, we are talking about a long coastline of golden sand, largely endowed and caressed by a clear blue sea. With generally calm waters, it offers fairly shallow waters and for this reason it is also suitable for families with children.
If you go just 4 kilometers from the center, you will arrive in front of a small masterpiece of nature: the Anthony Quinn Bay. The name of this small corner of paradise is no coincidence because he, the famous American actor, fell in love with this cove during the filming of the movie "The Guns of Navarone".
But there is nothing to reproach it: it is a beach of smooth stones, partially equipped, which comes to life in a picturesque and majestic cove. The sea, of course, is magnificent and is characterized by a color with a thousand shades of turquoise. The seabed, however, offers many satisfactions to snorkeling lovers.
On the other side of the headland that embraces Anthony Quinn Bay is another charming cove, the Ladiko Beach. Certainly less known than the previous ones, it is characterized by offering visitors a mixed beach of stones and fine sand gently touched by a blue and transparent sea. What makes it all even more fascinating are the surrounding hills, completely surrounded by thriving Mediterranean vegetation.
There is also the perfect beach for those who, after so much fun on the streets of central Faliraki, need a little relaxation and privacy: Kathara. In fact, we are talking about a fairly quiet beach that extends near a fishing port. A small gulf of pebbles and sand surrounded by high cliffs that also become the ideal setting for nudists.
How to get to Faliraki
Faliraki is one of the largest entertainment and nightlife centers in the Dodecanese Islands, a very popular destination also thanks to its ease of travel. If you come from the city of Rhodes, for example, all you have to do is hop on a bus service that connects the two towns with a trip every half hour.
If you prefer to travel with your own vehicle, you must follow the signs to the town. Soon, get to Faliraki It's child's play, those same people here really find a lot of food for their money.
What to see in the surroundings
As we told you before, Faliraki is the ideal destination for a carefree and fun-filled holiday., but it is also an excellent base for discovering some of the island's wonders.

Divided into Ciudad Alta and Ciudad Baja, it offers unforgettable walks through corners full of history and small glimpses that will surely not leave you indifferent.
It's also worth dropping by Erimokastro Fortress, famous above all for having been part of the filming set of "The Canyons of Navarone", which makes you fall in love because it is framed by the ruins of ancient walls. No less interesting is the archaeological site of sarantapichos which is still believed to be part of an acropolis from the archaic period. Plus it's beautiful ancient monastery of the prophet Amos that stands proud on a hill.
Finally, the top destination to reach the end of your vacation in the most curious way possible: quality, a place where hot springs spring up and spray red water.
