In Central Asia, where the most extraordinary nature meets unique hospitality
It is not a very popular holiday destination Kyrgyzstan yet, this Central Asian country - which borders China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan - is all to be discovered. And it is full of extraordinary places, as well as being famous for its customs, its traditions, its hospitality.
However, Kyrgyzstan is not an easy country. Its territory is rugged, with mountains that exceed 3000 meters and with one of the most beautiful natural architectures in the world. A taste of its panorama can be experienced by visiting theAla Archa National Park, in the Tian Shan mountains, which separate the country from China and Kazakhstan. The plains of the Pamir plateau, however, connect it to Tajikistan. If you decide to get here, you need to do it with awareness: cities are few, comforts too, transportation is difficult. On the other hand, Kyrgyzstan offers its visitors an extraordinary travel experience, to discover the customs of a people who have always been nomadic.
In Kyrgyzstan, the natural reserves they are a lot. But they are not the only thing worth seeing. Bishkek, the capital, seems to have come out of a postcard. Built on the slope of the Alatsu Mountains, it has a splendid square whose fountains - every evening - offer a show of lights and colours.
