It is definitely the event of the year, the wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. And, like any self-respecting royal wedding, it is the subject of two huge questions: who dressed the bride? And where will the two go to honeymoon?
On the honeymoon front, it must first of all be said that the wedding will not follow: Harry and Meghan, immediately after the ceremony, will treat themselves to a mini honeymoon in Dublin and will then return to London. But there is the possibility that they will also make a trip to the Amalfi Coast, which Meghan adores.
Here, on May 22, Prince Charles will preside over a charity party organized by him, and the two newlyweds - together with their brothers-in-law and the entire royal family - certainly cannot miss it.
But where will Harry and Meghan spend their honeymoon, the real one? The bookmakers went wild: while waiting for the goal to be made official by the two (or for them to be surprised by some lucky paparazzo), the most accredited hypotheses point to Africa. And, in particular, to Namibia.
Thus, it could be that same continent that hosted it their first trip together (a safari in Botswana, the country from which the stone of the ring designed by the prince for Markle also comes) to also serve as the backdrop to the honeymoon of the two splendid spouses. According to the industry magazine, Travel&Leisure, Harry and Meghan could stay at the Hoanib Valley Camp, a large eco-camp whose tents, equipped with every luxury, are priced at 660 dollars per night. Are they planning to organize a safari for their honeymoon?
Furthermore, it would not be the first time that a member of the royal family has chosen Africa for such an important trip. William, to ask his Kate's hand, had chosen the Lewa Safari Camp in Kenya. Even though her honeymoon took place at Seychelles, destination the private islet of Fregate (10 days, for a trip that cost something like 1 million dollars). All that remains is to wait until the end of May to find out which extraordinary destination the unconventional, new, royal couple will have chosen.
