How to get to Paris from Beauvais Airport, Recommended Hotels

If you like you have also benefited from the tempting Ryanair offers to Paris and after buying your ticket you realized that you are landing at Beauvais airport (about 90km from Paris), do not worry in this guide you will find all the information to spend a wonderful vacation in Paris even if it is only for 2 days.

How to get to Paris from Beauvais airport

The best way to get to Paris from Beauvais airport is by bus, the official airport shuttle service will take you to Port Maillot station in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Buses leave the airport (the bus parking is well signposted) 20 minutes after the arrival of the flights, while you should stay at Port Maillot station 3 hours and 15 minutes before your flight.

I recommend you to buy tickets online to optimize times and catch the first available bus. It is very easy to select the departure city, dates and flight number. The cost is € 16.00 one way per person.

Where to stay in Paris

The center of Paris is very large and each area has its own particularity, so it is difficult to find the right neighborhood to stay.

For those who travel with Low Cost flights and arrive at Porte Maillot station, a good option is to stay in this area, more precisely in the Neuilly district, not far from the center.

In 10 minutes walk you reach the Arcde Triomphe and Champs Elysees, my partner and I took a wonderful walk to the Eiffel Tower, all strictly on foot without taking the metro or the bus.

Recommended hotel: Neuilly Park

23, Rue Madeleine Michelis - Neuilly Sur Seine, - 92200 - France

Highly recommended hotel, nice, elegant and quiet area 200/300 meters from two Metropolitan train stations , Les Sablons and Porte Maillot. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast is also very good and plentiful (8,00 € per person), excellent to face an intense day of museums and walks.

The value for money is excellent, especially for a Paris hotel, prices start at around 75,00 € for a double room.

TheNeuilly, is a chic neighborhood, with restaurants, bistros and stores. We had dinner at the "Bar Café Brasserie Le Marly" 100 meters from the hotel. Of the area it is one of the cheapest, good Entrecot and wine selection, to be recommended if you don't want to go too far.

I recommended this area and the Parc Neuilly to budget travelers given its proximity to the Porte Maillot bus station, but the hotel is recommended for anyone visiting Paris.

Our typical day in Paris
  • Hearty breakfast at the hotel.
  • Visit Lumbrera (take the metro to Les Sablons and get off at Louvre Rivoli (about 10 minutes).
  • Walk through the streets of Montmartre with lunch stop at "Le Coquelicot".
  • Visit Notre Dame Cathedral
  • A stroll through the alleys of "Latin Quarter" then dine in one of the many restaurants in the area.

Recommended for a lunch in Montmartre

The poppy of the abbesses

Typical Parisian restaurant, in the charming Montmartre, you can have breakfast, lunch or take sweets, croissants or baguettes to go.

We discovered it while walking through the neighborhood and stopped for lunch, generally good and cheap.
