Montenegro is preparing to become the most requested destination by tourists. The Germans and Nordics know this well, as they are always the first to identify the most beautiful and least expensive destinations and have been going there for a few years. And the first Italians have also arrived, those who had already landed in Albania ten years ago and who are now leaving it to the masses to migrate elsewhere. Where there is no one yet.
Tourists who have visited Montenegro tell of beautiful places. So many are thinking of going there next summer. It will therefore make many happy, easyJet's announcement has just opened bookings for a new flight which will take off from June 2020 and which will connect Milan Malpensa airport with Tivat (or Tivat), a coastal town overlooking the Bay of Kotor, an enchanting fjord perfect for those who love the uncontaminated sea.
In recent years, Tivat has seen a significant increase in tourist flow, mainly due to the nearby airport and the beautiful beaches which are found along a whole series of inlets that create an evocative coastal landscape of great impact. The bay is also called "the bride of the Adriatic”, precisely because of the poignant beauty that presents itself when you admire this wonderful natural spectacle.
Boka Kotorska, the Bay of Kotorska, is a destination for tourism that is still rather discreet and not noisy, and therefore ideal for those in search of tranquility. While it lasts.
However, Montenegro remains a pearl, yet to be discovered. Wedged between Croatia and Albania, which have now become classic summer destinations for Italians, for years it went unnoticed due to a lack of tourist facilities and services.
Today, however, Montenegro is literally flying, thanks to the opening of some luxury hotels, where the celebrity, but also structures of all levels, from boutique hotels to traditional inns, to B&Bs, as well as fishermen's cottages and family apartments, for every type of budget. At least for now.
