It all takes place in the waters of the splendid coast of Adelaide, where a large group of ecologists, scientists and divers are organizing the event. Doors open to hundreds of small, harmless sharks that gather around the reefs of the capital of South Australia.

A rather prolonged event, lasting about a month. At the basis of the gathering is the process of shark reproduction, which in 2017 gave rise to the largest aggregation that the area can remember, among Adelaide, Aldinga e Noarlunga.

The party itself is not about the sharks, but about the many enthusiasts. The 'SharkFest' will in fact allow anyone who wants to dive with the sharks. Everything will happen in a completely controlled environment, in order to observe and be enchanted by the natural beauty, without generating excessive disturbances. You will also be able to learn more about the mysterious marine environment.

The festival, for humans, will last two days, that is on 10 and 11 November, with a program full of events. There will be guided dives, which are already sold out, as well as educational sessions by local fishermen.

The sharks' meeting point will be around the reefs, where the females will lay pairs of eggs, up to a maximum of 16, with cycles of 10 or 14 days. By respecting this program, the sharks will remain in the area for a few weeks, and then move away, in search of deeper waters. However, the hatching time of the eggs is decidedly longer. In fact, it lasts from 10 to 11 months.
