Dubai has a really long coastline but many of the beaches are reserved for hotels, even those not directly on the beach.
Fortunately, there are a number of beaches open to the public, often reachable by free hotel shuttles.
And here is a list of the most beautiful.
Jumeirah Beach Park
Jumeirah Beach Road.
Jumeirah Beach Park is the best known beach in Dubai, a huge expanse of fine sand and a clear and clean sea. Admission costs 1 euro and it is possible to rent deckchairs, umbrellas and towels (around 7 euro). It is very close to the center and can be easily reached by taxi.
Not recommended in August, since there is no shadow and the heat is crazy, even the sea water is really hot.
The park is full of fast food restaurants, kiosks and benches.
An important thing to know is that on some days (Sunday and Wednesday) only women can enter, so get information before you go.

Al Mamzar Beach Park
10 km north of Deira
Fine sand, clean sea and transparent water make it Mamzer Beach Park one of the most desirable beaches to visit.
It is located at the east end of Dubai near the Emirate of Sharjah and has 5 beaches divided by man-made coves. Each beach has areas with changing rooms and showers and it is possible to rent chalets complete with a barbecue area.
There are also 2 large swimming pools and restaurants. Sun beds and umbrellas can be hired and there are a few small cafes and grocery stores.
Here, too, admission is around 1 euro, and even here there are days when only women and children can enter (Monday).

Open Beach Jumeirah
Jumeirah Beach Road, Bur Dubai – Downtown Dubai
Also known as Russian Beach due to the large number of Russian tourists who frequent it, Open Beach is a public beach with free admission located near Downtown Dubai, next to Jumeirah Beach Park.
The sea is very beautiful especially in the early morning, avoid going there on Friday, a feast day in Islamic countries.
There are two small kiosks where you can buy water and food, but from this point of view the area is not yet developed like the other two parks, bring everything you need, towels, and above all an umbrella.
Umm Suqeim Beach o Burj Beach
Jumeirah Beach Road
This free beach offers the best view of Burj Al Arab , making it one of the most popular beaches in Dubai.
Don't miss the sunset show, with the grandeur of the Burj Al Arab and the golden colors of the sun reflecting in the calm waters of the gulf.
This beach located near the Jumeirah Beach Hotel doesn't have facilities like Al Mamzar Beach Park and Jumeirah Beach Park, but its must-see is the beautiful views.
