There are some experiences that are so incredible, wonderful and unique that they don't seem real. They are the same ones that belong to our dreams and most hidden desires, where we keep them waiting to be able to experience them.
But sometimes, too the most extraordinary dreams can be achieved, especially when someone provides us with all the tools to do so. And this is exactly what that luxury resort nestled in the heart of the Maldives has chosen to do transform travellers' desires into a superlative reality.
Because it is right here, among the crystal clear and turquoise waters of the ocean, that it is possible to live a unique experience of its kind, that of sleep in a room at the bottom of the sea in the company of thousands of fish five meters deep under the water.
Maldives: the immersive experience in the ocean
Organizing a trip to the Maldives is always an excellent idea. It is because this tropical country in the Indian Ocean, made up of 26 atolls and over 1000 coral islands, resembles a true earthly paradise in terms of shapes and colours.
The white and golden beaches, the blue and turquoise waters that bathe the sand, and then, again, very long and extraordinary coral reefs, attract nature lovers and thousands of travelers here every year who want to touch the great beauty that belongs to the world that we live.
And it is clear that a trip to the Maldives represents a dream already realized, yet there is an experience to be had here that can truly transform into an indelible and extraordinary memory.
On the island of Rangali, in the Ari Atoll, there is a luxury resort that has seen fit to offer its guests what is probably the most beautiful adventure of a lifetime. It is here, in fact, that it is possible to stay in a suite immersed in the ocean.
It was created by the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, an extra luxury resort that belongs to the Hilton Hotels group which has created what is the first residence in the world for travelers five meters deep under water.
The accommodation, which is connected to the large resort by an infinity pier over the water, is distributed on two levels, one outside and one inside the sea. The modern design completes the exclusive offer, but it is the large windows that characterize the lower area of ââthe residence that make the experience extraordinary. Because this is where you can sleep among fish and to all the creatures that populate the ocean floor.
A room at the bottom of the sea
It's a luxury experience that you live inside Muraka, the room at the bottom of the sea at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort. The name of the accommodation, which means coral in the Dhivehi language, is a tribute to all the wonders found under the sea.
All guests who book the underwater residence have access to a 24-hour personal butler, as well as a chef and a fitness instructor. The lower floor, which covers an area of ââapproximately one hundred square metres, includes a bedroom, a bathroom and a living room. The whole structure is characterized by large windows which allow direct and exclusive observation of the underwater world. Upstairs, however, there are two more bedrooms, a living room, a bar and a gym. There is also an infinity pool overlooking the ocean from which to admire a superlative view.
The cost of the experience amounts to approximately $50000 per night, but we believe it might be worth it, given that you have the opportunity to fall asleep in the ocean and wake up among the creatures that populate those waters.
But that's not all because inside the resort, it is also possible to have lunch and dinner at the bottom of the sea. In fact, the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island has also inaugurated Ithaa, an underwater restaurant with large windows that directly overlook the coral reef. Stop and observe everything around you: the view from here is spectacular.
