Gray Gray it stands out, however, for the extreme proximity of the coral reef to the shore dotted with restaurants overlooking the sea and offering dishes based on fresh fish, cooked according to the Mauritian tradition.
The paradise for surfers and kitesurfers is located in the west, in particular in one eye, located in Le Morne, which takes its name from the "tube" of the wave (i.e. the tunnel that forms the latter) which draws the shape of an eye.
In addition to the sea and beaches of incomparable beauty, Mauritius offers a hinterland rich in unique and surprising landscapes. If from the top of the Mont Pounce you can admire a 360° panorama of the northern part of the island, an excursion on the Mount Le Morne Brabant, a declared symbol of liberation from slavery Unesco World Heritage, will reward you with a splendid view of the peninsula of the same name and the Indian Ocean.
