If of the Perù you only know Machu Picchu and have never considered going on a beach holiday, perhaps you don't know that this country has fabulous beaches. And many. One more beautiful than the other.
It is a very varied country from a natural point of view. From the Andes, Peru extends to the Pacific Ocean, offering stretches of coast truly magnificent.
Near the capital, Lima, inside the Miraflores Park, there is one of the most beautiful characteristic beaches in all of Peru, characterized by long sandy stretches alternating with rocks and pebbles, bathed by a truly spectacular deep blue sea.
This part of Peru is very popular with those who love water sports such as surfing and sailing, but also with those who are passionate about diving and underwater fishing. Near Miraflores there are other splendid beaches, those of Barranco e Chorrillos, a mixture of sand and rock overlooking the ocean.
In Northern Peru, one of the most beautiful beaches that we recommend visiting is that of Paita, about 30 kilometers from the city of Piura, that of Pimental and finally that of Santa Rosa, located a short distance from the center of Trujillo. Not very far away you can visit the beaches of Chiclayo e Huanchaco, really very beautiful and characteristic.
Moving south of the country we highlight the beach of El Silencio, Senority e Gentlemen. These are broad equipped beaches of all the comforts where they can also be found excellent restaurants and bars where you can have an aperitif. In this area the view of the Pacific Ocean is truly superb.
Counted among the most beautiful beaches in Peru, that of Biovar, located in a practically virgin natural area. Here the coast is characterized by large inlets and heavenly bays inhabited by Dolphins, turtles and lots of tropical birds. Mostly the beaches are not equipped, and their beauty is due to the fact that they are wild. Tourists love to camp on the cliffs and enjoy a crystal clear sea and a uncontaminated nature. In fact, there are numerous more or less hidden coves accessible by impervious paths that descend from the cliff towards the Pacific Ocean through thick vegetation.
