Built for the sand sculpture festival, they are real hotels
The two Dutch towns of Oss and Sneek become protagonists of the Sand Sculpture Festival, the great exhibition of sand sculptures. This flies among the sculptures on the waterfront were made two giant castles which can accommodate visitors just like two hotels, with rooms, suites and reception. The price for a fairytale night is affordable, 150 euro per night, but unfortunately the reservations for this year are sold out. The hotels will close before the winter and you can only think about booking a stay for next summer and perhaps staying in a real castle in Italy.
On the coast of North Sea the exhibition of sculptures made with sand attracts curious people from all over the world and this year the artists wanted to exaggerate with these two installations. The hotel in Oss was decorated in Chinese style complete with statues and dragons, the other one that is found a Sneek, just two hours away, is inspired by Bedrock, the city of the Flintstones.
